How it Works
This experience is recommended for DEI training, queer ERG/affinity groups and Pride Month.
Join a beloved drag queen and activist for an exhilarating look at queer history and culture!
You’ll compete in teams for Queer Trivia, where you’ll get a crash course on LGBT rights, Pride, and the movement’s most important landmarks, from New York City to San Francisco.
Throughout, enjoy two live drag performances and Q&A with your drag queen host(ess). She’ll share what “a day in the life” looks like.
We donate 10% from this tour to Black LGBT nonprofits
Tell Me More…
“You may not think a drag queen sounds workplace appropriate, but you would be surprised how professional and thoughtful the team is.
The Pride Party is a perfect balance of educational and entertaining mixed with a little spice of team building that really brought the whole event together!”
-Jandee, Sr. People & Culture Specialist, Kazoo
Your team joins the video call to meet a stunning drag queen. (There will likely be some Lady Gaga bumping in the background.)
To kick things off, meet your host and hear her story: how she became a drag queen, an activist, and her LGBT identity. Then it’s time for a drag performance!
She’ll pose an ice breaker question, and move you into small breakout groups to discuss for a few minutes — this will be one of many opportunities to connect and talk.
Then we’ll get into Queer Trivia, a multi-media quiz where you’ll compete in small teams, answering questions about pop culture, LGBT icons, history, laws, places and more!
Your team will develop a team name, and when we go through the answers, your host will take you from the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, NYC, all the way to the Castro in San Francisco, to highlight places, communities and people who have helped define the cause.
Of course, we need a little pick-me-up, so next is another drag performance from your host. Get ready for fun, entertainment, and some sassy lip syncing!
In the home stretch, your host will share some final words on allyship and how to be supporting LGBT+ folks in your life. We’ll talk about what we do at Kabloom (including creating jobs for queer folks, and donating proceeds to grassroots organizations).
Your host will then open it up for a Q&A, and call on folks to share what they’re taking away from this session, before giving everyone a little treat, and saying farewell!

This should go without saying, but ideally: open-minded teams who are ready to learn, laugh, and stand in solidarity with their queer teammates and acquaintances!
(Homophobes, uh, generally don’t like this one.)
We ask that you share the theme with your team beforehand, and make it clear that this will be part entertainment (drag show), and part educational (LGBT history and the modern movement).
Folks can set festive virtual backgrounds for themselves to get into the rainbow spirit!
