Queens & Crowns

Queens & Crowns is a celebration of strong women in history and in the lives of your team.

You’ll learn about inspiring and overlooked figures, share stories of the queens in your own lives, and give shout outs to women and women-led organizations that deserve more recognition.

10% of profits go to a women’s rights nonprofit of the host’s choice.

A Quick Overview

We’ll start by talking about Women’s History Month, and what this means to your team.

Everyone will be prompted to think about one inspiring woman in their own life that they can tell the group about (in breakouts if a larger team).

Then your host will share stories of badass (sometimes overlooked) women throughout history, telling about their significance in arts, culture and activism.

In new breakouts, teams will develop their own “queens” during a collaborative drawing and creativity challenge. Teams will be working on shared virtual whiteboards to draw a queen, developing characteristics and traits inspired by the stories they heard.

This is designed to get everyone reflecting on what qualities inspired them, and how they can embody these qualities too.

Finally, your host will ask everyone to share the name of a woman that they wish more people knew about. This could be an artist, scientist, restaurateur, director, small business owner, or anyone who deserves more recognition!

We’ll hear from a few people about their choices, encourage everyone to drop in links to learn more, and then wrap up the event!
